In the heart of Turin, Baudracco delicatessen has been a hallmark of Turin’s culinary scene since 1969.

The recent renovation aimed to refresh and modernize all technological aspects, incorporating brand-new custom-made counters and refrigerated display cases. However, there was a conscious effort to retain the historic ambiance of the establishment, which has become deeply ingrained in the memories of Turin’s gourmets. This involved meticulously dismantling the previous counters, supplied by F.lli Groppo 50 years prior. Every piece of wood paneling and the precious Pakistani Onyx were carefully removed and then refurbished before being integrated into the new structures.

A similar process was undertaken for the existing wooden suspended ceiling, into which new and more efficient lighting fixtures were embedded. With this renovation, the store is now equipped with state-of-the-art technology, boasting 4.0 refrigerators nestled within a setting that has preserved all the charm and warmth of the original venue.
