It is the ancient Franciscan convent, built during the 13th century AD, that is at the heart of this renovation, involving all the adjacent buildings, constructed and modified throughout the most significant events in history, ultimately becoming the location for the National Theatre of the city of Nice.

Here, the Groppo company created the furnishings for the common areas such as the bar and reception, but also managed the setup for spaces designated for actors and staff working in the facility. The general and private dressing rooms, the communal rooms for rehearsals and private events, right up to the service kitchenettes on the top floor, were all custom-built.
